A matt-finish, super low-odour, waterborne acrylate primer for use on interior walls and ceilings. It is extremely adhesive and resistant to acid and alkaline, offering a first-class foundation for subsequent coats of other Feelings paints.

Application Details:

Application method:Brush, roller or spray application. For airless spray use nozzle 0.015”– 0.021”.

Coverage:

For absorbing surfaces 9-11 m²/l. For non-absorbing surfaces 12-14 m²/l.

Thinning:Thin with up to 20% of water if necessary.

Preparation:

The surface to be painted must be clean, dry and free of grease, dust and fibres. Wash down previously painted surfaces with a suitable cleaning agent, rinse carefully and let dry. Remove loose, flaking paint with a scraper. Treat moulded walls with a suitable mould removing solvent and then rinse with water. Sand hard or glossy surfaces to a matt finish and remove sanding dust. Fill holes and cracks with a suitable filler and sand the dried surface. Prime the surface with Feelings Universal Primer before coating, if necessary.

For new surfaces: Remove dirt and dust. Fill the surfaces with a suitable filler, if needed, and sand the dried surface. Remove sanding dust. Paint directly with Feelings Universal Primer. The finishing paint can be an acrylic paint like Feelings Interior Paint, Lumi Interior Paint or Joker.

Painting:Apply 1-2 times by brush, roller or spray according to surface conditions. The surface to be painted must be dry, the temperature of the air above 5℃ and the relative humidity of the air lower than 80%. Stir well before use and thin with 20% of water, if necessary.

Drying timeDust dry after 1/2 hour at 25℃. Re-coatable after 2-4 hours. Wallpaper can be hung the following day.

Environmental and waste disposalEmpty tins should be recycled or disposed of in accordance with local regulations. Liquid waste should be destroyed according to the local regulations without causing contamination.

StorageProtect from frost. Any remaining paint can be preserved for future use with the cap placed back on.

Shelf life3 years with the cap still intact. The expiry date is marked on the tin.
